Newborn Necessities is an established premium brand of newborn clothing designed and made in NZ. After over 10 years of dominating the category, Newborn Necessities started losing both channel distribution and sales.

REDFIRE first worked on revitalising the Newborn Necessities brand identity giving it a more upmarket, contemporary feel to better reflect the target market and channel. We then developed an innovative packaging system and reduced the packaging from 7 different units to just two gift boxes. The new packaging is built on the strong quality and design aesthetics of Newborn Necessities and it’s Kiwi heritage, and is more than just a box, it has become a gift wrap in it’s own right.

Both sales and stockists have grown rapidly since our work, and are continuing to grow.
